Blatt Becomes Flat

Last Thursday, January 21 the Cleveland Cavaliers took on the Los Angeles Clippers in a game that featured two of the NBA’s most high octane scoring powerhouses. The Cavs Led by the King of The land Lebron James who recorded a double, double while partners in crime J.R. (Swish) Smith dropped in six three pointers and the Kevin Love returned to old form by playing like and All-Star once again. Love with an incredible 18 points and 16 rebounds which unfortunately still was overshadowed by the embarrassing home blowout loss to the Warriors.
Nevertheless the Cavs still hold the best record in the eastern conference of the NBA and made an appearance in the 2015 NBA Finals which the fell short to the Warriors. However with the much improved season they had as Lebron returned home and the merge of the Big Three which consist of Lebron, Love and Kyrie many questions kept a dark cloud over the team as many experts had speculated whether or not Coach David Blatt was the right man to lead the team to the promise land and bring one home for the Land.
Terrible news followed on friday for the Blatt family as they learned that the Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert decided to fire coach Blatt for lack of so called production.
In a statement released by Gilbert he told Espn reporters that stated “If Lebron would have liked him, he wouldn't have lost his job”.
By leaving the Cavs Blatt falls into a category of 8 different coaches in Lebron’s career in Cleveland. It also is the second NBA finals appearance with the Cavs, the first time Coach Mike Brown who actually won coach of the year and after the loss in the finals lost his job.
Blatt’s replacement is Tyronn Lue who does have experience both playing and coaching in this league. Coach Lue is a questionable pick for the head job of a team that is leading the Eastern conference and is a title contender.
The two biggest questions Cavs fans must answer, is Lebron a coach killer and can you trust the man to lead the Land to the title when he was part of the disrespectful stepover?
