ISIS is ISIS-lated
We as United States citizens have protected this country to our limits. We fight what we need to fight to keep this country safe, but is that enough? As many know ISIS is an Islamic Terrorists group setting things into action that have hurt many people in many ways. ISIS stands for many things including expansion of military and control or rural areas. ISIS isn't the only group of terrorists the United States have fought. The US has to fight back by successfully sending in troops inside Syria. Only a ground force will help man to man contact.
Our military has escalated in many ways due to these terrorist problems. ISIS was founded in 1999. The US has been fighting them since December of 2014 but has been fighting in Afghanistan since the 1900s. ISIS is known for being hidden in many places at many times then attacks. The last attack on the US was on June 12, 2016. One of the most recent attacks were in a Musil Iraq as the US forces attacked ISIS.
ISIS started out as an al Qaeda splinter group in Iraq. ISIS has been in 90 attacks in 21 countries have killed nearly 1,400 people. ISIS has a claimed strategy that includes oil production and smuggling to help them. ISIS is also currently based in Syria. On October 17, 2016 Iraq's prime minister has announced on live television that he wants to gain control of the key city of Mosul.
ISIS has a good amount of soldiers in their lineup but are still gaining new ones every day just like the US. The only difference between ISIS and US military men and women is that ISIS has brought children into do terrorists acts. The US has only brought in men and women into the fight against ISIS. The hardest part about fighting ISIS isn't just about trying to find them but killing them. If you're in the military walking on a street checking houses and you see a kid pull a grenade or gun out what goes through your mind at that moment. Killing kids is going to be really hard due to that fact that many people in the US military have kids the same age as the ones their fighting in Afghanistan or Iraq.
ISIS is a mix of many different terrorist groups that we as a country have fought over the past 20 to 30 years. Leaders for the Islamic state have changed many times for many years on end. Osama Bin Laden died on May 2, 2011, this was a big spark for the US military due to the fact that he was one of, if not the most, wanted man in the world at the positions he died. Bin Laden ruled the throne for the Islamic state for many years. He was involved with multiple attacks not just on the US but all around the world.
Due to many issues around the world ISIS has been involved with a lot of them. Many ISIS involved issues are happening as of now. Somewhere in the world people are getting hurt and more are getting killed. It’s honestly scary the world we live in today due to many groups not just ISIS. The US has had its fair share at the world around us and have taken many lives.
The US has been fighting for the past 100 years with many different countries including themselves. Not many realize that the US has been under many situations throughout the time it’s been around. WW1, WW2, Civil War, Vietnam War, and the Afghanistan War. We have lost many people in all of these wars and it’s hard to get past the fact that they all died to our enemies at the time. We fight for freedom and our rights but some of the men and women that have fought in these wars have not been around long enough to experience freedom as a whole.
Many times we have been in situations that have expanded our military use. Fighting back at ISIS will help us put our Military expansion to good use in more than one way. Fighting may not solve anything at home or in school but right now against ISIS we don’t have a choice. Using ground troops could hit them in the heart of their operation. Ground troops are fighting as of now and putting them in the center will help us. President Barack Obama has sent in more special forces troops to Syria to fight ISIS. President Obama has help tremendously in fighting ISIS throughout the past 4 years. Losing soldiers is going to be the downfall of fighting ISIS but at least they know what they are getting themselves into. As shown previously ISIS has attacked many places in many countries and it’s time to put a stop to ISIS and what they’ve done to the world.
This was something the world looks at everyday as an everyday issue to modern society. Feeling safe is the one thing as a country we want to have even if it’s for a few days. Putting an end to the way ISIS is treating our world is a big step further in making the world a better place.
As of today the US as a whole hasn't faced these threats but it’s soon to come if nothing is done to stop ISIS. There isn't another way to say that ISIS are bad people only looking to do harm to others. This articles is meant to inform you as a reader that our world has our ups and downs and the one biggest downfall is ISIS. But we can make the world a better place by ending their terror and ending our worries.
