Rubio's Viewpoints
Rubio was the first Cuban-American Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives.
Marco Rubio's parents were born in Cuba and came to America in 1956. The election is in Washington D.C. and he has 17 Delegates.
This issue is about how families should be raised in a house with both mother and father. The economic and social policy don't agree they are competing with them, instead of helping them. Rubio’s viewpoint is that kids shouldn't have to grow up with just one parent they should have both in their life. Rubio didn't come from a wealthy family, but he still thinks you should have both your parents in your life. He also wants to help them out with their taxes. He states, “To do this, I will provide a limited 25% non-refundable tax credit to any business that offers between four and twelve weeks of paid leave.” Rubio plans to build stronger families.
This issue is on how people who have fought for our country don't get anything. There is a lot of homeless veterans and they don't deserve to be homeless. Rubio wants to make sure that they are not homeless and they have a job opportunity and educational opportunities that will help them. He also wants to help out military strength. Rubio wants to ensure that they go to battle they have really good training and and equipment.
The main focus on this issue is how people should have gun rights. President Obama wants to limit the gun law in Second Amendment. Rubio wants to stand up to what he Obama thinks because does not agree with him at all. He believes that the right people do have the right to carry a concealed weapon. He thinks people have to carry a permit so the rights don't end at state line. Rubio will try to make sure everyone with a gun is safe and so people can protect themselves.
