Licking Valley Graduates Take the Next Step
Mikey and Mitch Flowers are former students and athletes of Licking Valley. In high school, Mikey participated in basketball and Mitchy participated in basketball, football, and track. They recently started their own business called Two Brothers Pallet Company. Two Brothers Pallet Company builds rustic home decor from reclaimed wood pallets.
After high school, the Flowers brothers attended The Ohio State University and served as student managers for The Ohio State men's basketball team. Mikey graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Sport Management. Mitch graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education/Sport Management.
While Two Brothers Pallet Company takes off, the Flowers brothers have other occupations. Mikey is currently teaching at OakStone Academy in Westerville. Mitch is an Educational Aide at Licking Valley High School.
When asked about their company goals, Mikey said: "We want to partner with various charitable organizations throughout the community and aid in fundraising events." Mikey also stated that he wants to "organize our company to make it more efficient and profitable." I asked Mitch what motivated them to start Two Brothers Pallet Company and he said: "It started as a hobby and turned into something popular."
While I talked with the Flowers brothers, they mentioned that they have recently supported a couple of local organizations by donating some different pallet projects. The organizations that they have supported so far are the Wyatt Adkins Heart Organization and the Licking Valley Sports Auction.
Mikey and Mitch are making all of the Licking Valley community proud. There is going to be much more success to come for them and Two Brothers Pallet Company.
