Clinton conspiracies
Since her time as first lady, the public eye has been watching every move of Hillary Clinton. Along with this constant watching, has come many conspiracy theories. From murders, fake medical issues, and sex scandals to drugs, Benghazi, and even lesbianism. Some conspiracists even believe her to be a part of the Illuminati: a secret society that allegedly controls world affairs by masterminding events through celebrities and politicians.
Hillary Clinton became the lead candidate for the Democrat party for the election of 2016. Though she won the popular vote by nearly one million votes, she lost the election just one week ago.
One of the major factors that contributed to her loss, aside from Trump’s ability to woo the country, was all of the scandals surrounding the former Secretary of State. Slogans such as “Hillary for Prison 2016,” “Liar, liar pantsuit on fire,” and “#CrookedHillary” were adapted by voters nationwide.
As imagined the email and Benghazi scandals, in which four US soldiers were killed via surprise attack, were the biggest setback in her campaign, and her biggest fault in the eyes of Americans, many of whom believed we could not trust her with the lives of our soldiers, and therefore we could not trust her with our country and its security. In three different sources (townhall.com, louderwithcrowder.com, and spectator.org), authors referred to her private server email scandal as a top reason they would never vote for her.
Undoubtedly, Hillary Clinton made some very large mistakes with the emails and paid the price when she lost the election of 2016. However, the rest of the conspiracies have yet to be proven true or false, and until they are, we will never know the full truth about Hillary Clinton. Our American value is innocent until proven guilty. By assuming these conspiracies to be true and not giving her credentials she deserves due to this, we are devaluing the American value.
There is a high chance of Clinton remaining in the limelight for the rest of her life. And in this case, we can only hope that someone reveals some truth behind these conspiracies.
