Senior Spotlight
As the end of the year approaches Licking Valley is saying goodbye to the class of 2017 and the graduating seniors are onto the next chapter of their lives. I caught up with a few of those seniors and asked what they were planning to do after graduation.
Dean Conrad, a member of show choir, band, drumline, and musical, is planning to attend Muskingum University and major in Music Education in the fall. Before graduating he performed the lead role of Ren in the spring musical “Footloose.”
Taylor Shepler, a cheerleader, dancer, and member of the spring musical class, is planning to attend The Ohio State University to major in social work and minor in substance abuse and addiction to eventually become a drug counselor.
Breanna Chesser, a cheerleader and renaissance member, is planning to attend college to eventually become an anesthesiologist.
Jacob A Clark, a member of quiz team, boy scouts, cross country, and National Honor Society, is planning to attend Ohio Northern University to study pharmacy in the medicine department.
Jacob Martinez, a state finalist in wrestling, has signed to Kent State to wrestle. Kent State is a Division I public institution.
Megan Riley, an avid journalist, hard worker, and debater of hot topics, plans to attend Ohio State University Newark to study pre-law. Make sure to read all of her stories that are already published on our school newspaper “The Prowler.”
