Has supernatural met its mark
Friends, Simpsons, The Three stooges. All iconic TV shows that almost everyone knows. But will Supernatural be added to that list as one of the most beloved and recognised TV shows on the planet? Being a TV show revolves around a lot more than you think. Cast, film crew, director, are all the simple things that you need in a TV show. But no one realizes that main part of the story and that’s the story itself. The plot line, the constant shows that can’t be repeated, the script that you can’t mess up on as an actor, that’s the main part to a well rounded TV show. But has Supernatural done just that?
Living up to the expectation of fans is hard. Trying not to disappoint some people while trying to also make people feel happy about the decision is hard. Supernatural has came to a stage where they desperately have to be careful of not hurting the fans. Running on 12 seasons of the same show every year is hard, not just for the actors but for the script writer. The script cannot repeat itself ever. When you get down to the point that you are running out of ideas especially having to look back at over 100 episodes from the past makes things really difficult. But as we see today Supernatural is still going and is still hanging on.
Supernatural is a story of two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester, that drive around in a 1967 Chevy Impala and hunt down things that we think are just stories. With the Winchesters, family runs deep. Their mom hunted when she was growing up and their dad got into hunting after his wife was killed by a Demon after Sam was born. They all made hunting a family business. Now vampires, werewolves, ghosts, and many other are monsters are what these two brothers hunt.
Sam, the youngest, was different than his brother growing up. Always played asked questions about their Dad and when he'd be home cause he was out on a hunt. Normal kid. But Sam realized growing up that the family business wasn't meant for him so he decided to go to Stanford to study in law. After a few months in college, Dean, the oldest, needed help locating his dad so he decided to pay his little brother a visit. In the time that Sam was gone, something happened that would then permanently keep him hunting for the rest of his life. After the hunt, Sam was dropped off at his house, laid back on his bed, and looked up at the ceiling to find his girlfriend of two years was dead and died the exact same way his Mom died. That’s how Sam got into hunting permanently.
Dean, on the other hand, was Raised into hunting. Every now and then his dad would take him on a hunt for some small ghost or vampire and they would have fun doing it. Dean was the caretaker for his little brother. If someone touched Sam in a way that it hurt, Dean would be the one that helped. When Dean got older his Dad would be gone for longer so him and sam Traveled a lot. Dean was more of the family man that believed no matter what Dad says it’s right. WARNING: This will contain spoilers so if you are or want to watch Supernatural please read at your own risk)
It does involve biblical and religious beliefs so if you don't want anything to do with angels, demons, or gods, then don't watch it. This show has a very good story to it. Though you have to watch it from the beginning of season 1. It related to me because it makes me view how important my family is to me just like how important Sam is to Dean or vice versa For all that's gone down in Supernatural I’m not to sure on how it is going to end. I hope it ends by Sam and Dean dying and going to heaven to where their parents and Bobby are waiting for them. I really enjoy the show and what it has to offer, and I do enjoy this show and recommend it.
